The bravery of miners who rescued stricken colliers is remembered in this episode from Wrexham. In a heat chamber once used to train rescuers, Caroline Hawley learns how the Coal Mines Act of 1911 made mine rescue stations compulsory, leading to countless lives being saved. At Wrexham Miners Project, she speaks to former miners Alan, Idwal and Keith to hear about life underground and how they looked after their beloved canaries.\n\nAcross the border, two teams search for bargains at an antiques centre in Leominster. Friends Emily and Sophie, in red, are after anything colourful and bright, while the blues, pals Llywelyn and Ollie, reckon they are going to reel in a profit. After giving a rapturous welcome to their expert Gary Pe, Llywelyn and Ollie begin their hunt, spotting a theatrical fibreglass mask. Not keen on the look it gives them, they exit stage right. Over with the reds, a lead-painted model of a pig catches Emily and Sophie's eye, but expert Tim Weeks suggests they 'trotter' on! In north Wales, auctioneer Matthew Tong gives his estimates on the teams’ lots, but it’s not up to him – it’s up to the bidders in his saleroom.
