We’ve dealt Charlie Ross a great hand - he’s got two fantastic teams hunting for bargains in Stratford-upon-Avon, two fabulous experts in Tim Weeks and Izzie Balmer, and the brilliant Thomas Forrester, who’s brought along an amazing collection of playing cards dating back to the 16th century. \n\nSo what’s on the cards for our teams? For husband and wife Peter and Stella, it’s all about following their hearts as they go up against brother and sister Matthew and Katie. Katie has only got eyes for owls, but will they be having a hoot while they shop?\n\nWith fun and games in mind, Charlie learns how the Hundred Years War brought playing cards to Britain and discovers how the earliest cards also act as a fascinating social record of life during the 16th and 17th centuries. \n\nWhen our teams get to the auction in Lichfield, can they stay poker-faced as auctioneer Richard Winterton puts their items under the hammer? Who will come up trumps?
