Series 27: 22. Mystery Treen and Badges of Honour
Worcester antiques wizard Phil Serrell and queen of Kentish salerooms Catherine Southon are on the second instalment of their treasure-hunting trek. Taking them through Dorset, via Salisbury and into Hampshire, is a sporty red Morgan Roadster. \n\nAnd it’s an eclectic mix of bargain buys. Catherine offers up a jardinière, motoring vanity set, street lamp and an art deco cocktail glass numbering set. Phil raises the stakes with an antique adjustable bookcase, some mystery treen and flies the flag for... a flag. \n\nPhil also discovers that the nearby hills contain gleaming artworks a world away from the famous white horses of Wiltshire. He joins a dedicated team of volunteers keeping the memory of those who served in our country’s wars visible for today’s visitors to appreciate. \n\nThe second of their five auctions is north of the border near Edinburgh. Who will have the last laugh this time?
