A miscarriage of justice in the city. The trader jailed for 'rigging' interest rates, Tom Hayes, has won the right to appeal his case after a six-year battle. He alleges he’s only the first victim of a whole series of miscarriages of justice where 37 traders and brokers were prosecuted for something that’s now not regarded as a crime anywhere but the UK. Meanwhile, the BBC’s uncovered evidence that central banks and governments, including our own, were involved in manipulating interest rates on a much greater scale – evidence that regulators knew about but never disclosed to parliament. The programme have an exclusive interview with Tom Hayes.
