The winter action continues in China, with British snowboarder Charlotte Bankes beginning her quest for Olympic glory in the exciting women’s snowboard cross. The 26-year-old Bankes is the reigning world champion and has been in great form this season, but it’s an unpredictable event in which mishaps can occur at every bump and jump along the course.\n\nThere’s also qualifying for the men’s snowboard halfpipe – will we see US megastar Shaun White going for an unprecedented fourth gold?
