Kate meets her namesake, Kate the giraffe, who’s been losing weight and having tummy trouble. As vets try to get to the bottom of what is wrong, the keepers worry it’s something that could spell disaster for the whole herd.\n\nKoalas are very fussy eaters, and as Ben turns up for feeding time, he finds out why some eucalyptus leaves are better than others. Keeper Gemma is driven mad by the wild birds eating the animals' feed and stealing their fur to build nests. She goes into battle against packs of marauding crows and jackdaws.\n\nMeanwhile, Jean Johansson is promised the spectacle of of tigers swimming when keeper Ian lures them into the pond on a hot day with some fishy lollipops.
