Troubled ex-Marine Tommy Riordan returns to his home town of Pittsburgh and enlists his father and former coach to train him for a mixed martial arts tournament. His brother Brendan, struggling to make ends meet as a school teacher, returns to the amateur ring of his youth to provide for his family. The siblings are forced to confront their fractured relationship when they find themselves on a collision course.
